The search function will show you the pages in this web site that contain the text you supply. Simply type some text in the Search For box and press Enter.

There are some special words and symbols that you can use to help your search:

• The search engine uses the Boolean or by default. It will therefore find pages with any of the words you specify. This means that you are given more results when you use more words. For example, 3 words may return 20 choices, 5 words may return 100 choices. This is because the search engine will return results that may only have one of the terms you entered or all of the terms you entered.
• To narrow the number of results, tell the search engine to search for an exact phrase by typing quotation marks around words that make up a phrase. A phrase could be a person's name, business name, or an organization. For example, if you type Steamboat Springs, the search engine will display pages that have Steamboat or Springs in them. If you type "Steamboat Springs", the search engine will only display pages that contain the exact phrase of Steamboat Springs.
• You may also narrow the number of results by using the Boolean and. When you place the word and between each of your search terms you are telling the search engine to find pages that only contain each of the words you entered. For example, if you type Abbott and Costello, the search engine will try to find pages that have both the word Abbott and the word Costello in the page.
• You may also use an asterisk to replace several letters of a word. For example, if you type Com*, the search engine may find pages that have Community or Computer. This is great if you cannot remember how to spell a word or if you want the search engine to find plurals of a word.
