There are many shooting organizations in Routt County from skeet shooting with a shot gun to hand gun and black powder gun shooting. Routt County Rifle ClubA women's beginning instructional shoot is at 5:30 P.M. on the second and fourth Thursday of each month (June thru Sept inclusive) at the Routt County Rifle Club range, just two miles west of town on U.S. Highway.
