The City of Steamboat Springs Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Department links maps to GIS data that can be better understood visually. The GIS for the City of Steamboat Springs is being developed to help provide better tools to improve the community's emergency response, assist with planning decisions, provide public information, and support the infrastructure of services the City maintains. A goal of the City of Steamboat Springs' GIS Services is to distribute quality information throughout the community.
