1947 Plymouth Delux boasting WZ license plate owned and restored by local Roddy Beall. WHAT'S WZ?
Not too many years back, all residents who registered their vehicles in Routt County had license plates issued that began with "WZ." If you saw a WZ license plate on a car on the road, you knew you were waving at a neighbor. Check out the attached photo displaying the old WZ license plate.

The Yampa Valley has a fascinating history. Check out the History & Genealogy pages for more information.
