The Yampa Valley Housing Authority promotes a healthy and diverse community by increasing the availability of affordable housing for the people of Routt County.

DID YOU KNOW?
• The Yampa Valley Housing Authority has created 137 affordable units for those in low to moderate income categories.

• With the announcement that the we will be purchasing Fish Creek Trailer Park, it has helped 124 trailer park residents secure their future.

• Our state certified Home Buyer’s Education program eclipsed over 100 low and moderate income participants since its inception in 2006.

• We have distributed $60,000 in direct Down Payment assistance.

• The Yampa Valley Housing Authority has secured over $1,000,000 in grants associated with housing programs.

• We administer many programs, including, Mortgage Credit Certificates, Down Payment Assistance, Energy Outreach Grants, Home Buyer’s Education, 1 on 1 Counseling, Pre-Qualification Services, and Deed Restriction Monitoring.
