Membership in the Colorado CattleWomen, Inc. (
CCW) is not dependent upon owning a cow. It is dependent on your interest in the industry and the people within the industry.
There are two major types of membership:
General Membership and
Associate Membership.
General Membership members are those who are either members at large or members of local affiliates. They have the opportunity to promote beef at the National Western Stockshow, the State Fair, and the Holiday Food and Craft Fairs in Colorado Springs and Denver. The have the opportunity to receive training to help them enter into their local classrooms, funds and help in local promotions, and input into updating materials produced by the Colorado CattleWomen for publication. These members are the backbone of the organization and support the organization with their time and funds. There are three levels of General Membership: General is $10 annually; General life member silver is someone who wishes to pay their dues to the organization once and remain a member for the rest of their life. The amount is $250. General Life member gold is also someone who wishes to pay a one time fee for life; but wishes to support the Colorado CattleWomen at a higher level. The amount is $500.
Associate Members recognize the importance of the newsletter and can join in the opportunities of the General Member but pay a higher membership fee to financially support the Colorado CattleWomen's Newsletter. Their name, logo, and other pertinent information appears in each newsletter for the year. Associate Membership fees are $150.
